Mellissa McTizic and Eunice Gudger conduct line dance classes each Tuesday and Thursday at the Bolivar Municipal Center as part of the Total Transformation Program. The Boys Dizzy Dean Baseball teams finished collectively above .500 for the first time in eleven years, led by the third-place 6U squad. The 6U team (see photo right), coached by Ethan Howell, won their first three games in the tournament on June 27-28 putting them in the final three before losses on June 29 dropped them out of the tournament in third place. It was the first time a Bolivar Dizzy Dean team won the first three games in Southaven since 2016, when the 16U team won the tournament, winning all three of their games. Success was not limited to only the 6u team as the Bolivar 8U squad went 4-2 to finish in fourth place, while the 12U team finished in the top eight, going 2-2. The 10U team won their first game but dropped the next two to bow out of the event. The girls' teams were led by the 6U squad as well (see front page) as they finished in second place. The 8U girls team went 1-2, the 10U girls went 1-2, and the  12U girls fell in all three of their contests.
