Wilhite Named Top Vet in TN

Dr. Jerry Wilhite of Bolivar and the Old Hatchie Veterinary Clinic, was honored as the Outstanding Practitioner of the Year by the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA). Dr. Wilhite, who retired from active practice at the end of 2023, served on the Tennessee Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, on the Executive Board of TVMA, served on the board of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Foundation, and currently serves on the board of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. The Old Hatchie Veterinary Clinic has been a longtime supporter of Lone Oaks Farm, part of the UTIA system, Hardeman County Adoptable Animals, and the Boy Scouts. Active in his community, Dr. Wilhite served for 12 years as a Bolivar city council member and is currently the chairman of the Bolivar Utility Board.
