New county elected officials sworn in

"The election is over and now it's time to get to work," was the statement made by Hardeman County General Sessions Judge Charles "Chip" Cary, as he began the process of swearing in the newly elected county officials.Hardeman County officials received its new county mayor, Jimmy Sain, today (Friday, August 29) as a sworn official. Sain, along with Sheriff John Doolen, Hardeman County Commissioners, School Board Members, and other local elected officials were sworn in by Cary. The swearing in of these officials will serve as Cary's last swearing in ceremony unless he is needed to assist newly elected Judge Boyette Denton in his absense, since Cary has announced his retirement.Here is a photo gallery of today's swearing in ceremony.
