TDOT Work on Highway 18 Begins in Bolivar

Road work that will improve Highway 18 from Bolivar to Hickory Valley began August 23 in Bolivar.
According to Hardeman County Highway Superintendent Casey Swift, the work will take approximately three weeks to mill, cold-in-place recycling, and put a thin-lift layer of asphalt on top of it.
The job was thought to be slated for 2022, but requests by State Senator Page Walley and State Representative Johnny Shaw managed to get it moved up to an earlier date.
