Parsons Creek Comes to Bolivar

Parsons Creek Band out of Pocahontas will headline at the Bolivar Downtown Amphitheatre on October 6 for Music on the Square at 8:00 p.m.
Parsons Creek performs Blues, Southern Rock, and Funk Music, with selections that are original songs along with cover tunes.
Opening up the night at 7:00 p.m. will be John Spears.
Music on the Square in Bolivar is made possible by the Hardeman County Music Commission and the Bolivar Downtown Development Corporation.
An annual tradition in Bolivar will pick up where it left off last October as the Smokin’ Downtown BBQ Cookoff will be contested October 20-21.
The entry fee of $100 will allow teams to compete in three categories: Pork, Ribs, and Chicken with prizes for the winners and also a separate championship reserved solely for Hardeman County teams.
