Friends of the Library host internationally acclaimed writer

On April 24, the Friends of the Library in conjunction with the African Medical Association of Jackson and the University of Memphis Lambuth, presents Nigerian-American author Chris Abani. Abani is a novelist, poet, playwright, essayist and the author of 14 books. He is the recipient of a Lannan Literary Fellowship, a PEN Hemingway Book Prize and a Guggenheim Award.
