County Shooters Compete at State Event

Two teams and one individual from Hardeman County placed at the state level in the Tennessee Scholastic Clay Target Program. Competing in the intermediate entry, Layne Faulk, Ashton Jeter, and Eli Parsons finished second in Sporting Clays, with Jeter winning the individual title. In Trap, Jayce Clutter, Jeter, Faulk, Parsons, and Grayson Gladish placed third.
At the regional level, Parsons, Faulk, and Jeter placed second in Sporting Clays, with Jackson Russell, J.T. Nuckolls, and Hudson Jackson placing third. Faulk earned individual third place, while Miranda Eady finished in second the ladies individual category. In Trap, Russell, Parsons, Clutter, Jeter, and Faulk placed second. The Skeet competition saw Parsons, Jeter, and Russell finish third, with Eady in third individually. The Junior Varsity competition saw Cole Vickers, C.J. Russell, and Kolby Lax place third in Skeet with Kelcie Bishop finishing third individually.
