Girlie named Pet of the Week

Girlie is a young, female lab mix (2 to 3 years old).  She is a sweet girl, but it takes a little while for her to warm up to people.  Once she is comfortable, she loves to play.   She is Heartworm positive and will have to be treated.  
While undergoing treatments, she will need to be in a calm environment where she can rest and heal.  Girlie will make a wonderful companion to someone who has the time and patience for her
