Pulse Named Assessor of the Year
Hardeman County Assessor of Property Josh Pulse was awarded the West Tennessee Assessor of the Year Award 2022 from the Tennessee Association of Assessing Officers. The award was presented on behalf of the Tennessee Association of Assessing Officers (TNAAO) by the Executive Director, Will Denami and the 2022 President, Erinne Hester.
“The Tennessee Association of Assessing Officers proudly recognizes Josh Pulse for exemplifying the highest standards of professionalism, service and leadership as Assessor of Property for Hardeman County and name him West Tennessee Assessor of the Year for 2022,” said President Erinne Hester.
Executive Director Will Denami said “Josh Pulse continues to be recognized by his peers for his outstanding contributions to the mass appraisal profession in Tennessee including the Outstanding Executive Board Member 2014, Leadership Award 2015, Presidential Award 2017, and the West Tennessee Assessor of the Year 2022. Josh is a proven leader and a dedicated professional in the mass appraisal field and his hard work continues to benefit the citizens of Hardeman County.”

We are blessed in Hardeman County, we have a strong team in the Assessor’s office and great partners in our various county constitutional officers and city leaders. I appreciate the honor and responsibility the citizens of Hardeman County have placed in me and our office works every day to do the very best job we can for our community,” said Josh Pulse, Hardeman County Assessor of Property.
The Tennessee Association of Assessing Officers (TNAAO) is a professional organization composed of the elected officials serving as Assessors of Property in Tennessee. The TNAAO's purpose is to work on behalf of the people of our great state to ensure fairness and uniformity in statutes regarding the assessment of property, as well as, to promote excellence through best practices and professionalism amongst those charged with this vital task.
