Mobile DMV Comes Back to Bolivar

The Hardeman County Clerk, Jerry Armstrong, and his deputy clerks once again have brought the Tennessee Mobile DMV unit back to Hardeman County. Located at the Hardeman County Courthouse square, this mobile unit provides services that veterans and citizens would normally only receive at a Department of Safety and Homeland Security Center. Did you know that the public can apply for a new handgun carry permit, renew your current permit, or get a duplicate from the mobile DMV unit? As long as you meet the following requirements to receive your new carry permit, you can walk out of the mobile unit a registered carrier that day.
The applicant shall submit proof of the successful completion of a department approved Handgun Safety Course within the past twelve (12) months. Provide CERTIFIED PROOF of U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency (no photocopies). Submit fully completed application at any full-service Driver License Service Center location. Applicant is required to present a photo ID to the department at the time of filing the application. Pay non-refundable application fee payable by cash, certified check, or money order. When the application is processed at the driver services center, the applicant will be given instructions on being fingerprinted.
