Luez Sets Opening Night

The Luez Theatre in Bolivar will officially open its doors to the public on December 14, ending the more than six years the circa 1948 theatre has been closed in Bolivar.
Purchased by the Bolivar Downtown Development Corporation in 2013, the theatre has hosted a half-dozen events over years, but plans to run movies four days a week beginning with the December 14 opening night.
Tickets for opening night will be available beginning December 13 at 9:00 a.m. at the Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce. Any of the approximately 220 seats not sold at the chamber over the two days of pre-sale will be available at the Luez Theatre beginning at 6:30 p.m.
