Forest Festival Announces Schedule

The Tennessee Forest Festival will come back September 26-28 as the second year of the rejuvenated event is hosted by Hardeman County.
According to organizers Amber Moore and Larry Crawford, the event will have a tractor show and tractor pull, a loggers reception, golf and tennis tournaments, an art show, and a small carnival. More is being planned including a loggers reception.
The Miss Forest Festival Pageant will take place September 14. For more information contact Amber Moore at 731-609-1210. Also, the pageant is looking to invite any past Miss Forest Festival winners. Contract Moore for information.
Started in 1949 and held at various places around the state, it chose Hardeman County as its permanent home in 1978, where it continued until 2007.
