Bolivar city employees to receive raise

For the first time in several years, Bolivar city employees are expected to receive a pay raise upon approval of the proposed city budget.
The proposed city budget, presented to the city council on Tuesday, June 9, calls for a four percent pay raise for city employees. The pay raise will be the first raise city employees have received since July 2012, when they received a 3.5 percent pay increase.
