Magnolia Manor, now a bed and breakfast, is home to various tales of encounters with the supernatural. Guests have recounted experiences of seeing apparitions, having objects moved and having sheets pulled up over them while they slept by unseen hands.

“With all the evidence we have, with all the EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon), I believe Magnolia Manor really is haunted,” said Gregg Rivers, son of Elaine Cox (owner of Magnolia Manor). “But, we are not here to try and convince anyone or change anyone’s mind, I would simply say that you need to come and stay with us and make up your own mind.”
