Religious leaders speak out for Amendment 1

Perhaps one of the most talked about and controversial amendments put to Tennesseans for a vote lately, the Amendment 1 vote in November has both sides of the argument speaking out for their beliefs. Often referred to as the ‘abortion amendment’, religious leaders across Hardeman County are taking stand and asking for residents to support the amendment and ‘vote yes on 1.’ However, these leaders said the amendment is more than a ‘religious’ issue.
