Smith to Play at the Next Level

Middleton Softball player Brianna Smith signed with Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) on November 15.

“Bri is an exceptional athlete,” said Middleton Softball Coach Danielle Mott. “It has been an honor to watch her grow as a person and athlete from little league until now. There is nothing better than fulfilling your dreams. I have no doubt she will excel in anything she puts her mind to!”

Smith played shortstop for the Lady Tigers this past season, helping them to their first ever regional playoff berth.

NWSCC is currently a member of the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) and will compete against various opponents within the ACCC, National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

The Patriots went 15-38 this past spring.
