Local martial artist wins at 28th Championship

Everyone was a winner Saturday, October 18 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY where more than 1,500 competitors gathered at the 28th annual Hwang’s World Taekwondo Championship.  Hosted by 1984 Olympic Silver Medalist in Judo, Grand Master Jung Oh Hwang, students competed in various events ranging from kata and board breaking, to weapons and sparring and demonstrating their skills and mastery of self-discipline, self-control and the ability to compete in fairness and fun.
