Willis Qualifies for International Competition

Middleton Freshman Ella Willis, a member of DECA at the MHS, qualified for the International Career Development Conference to be held in Orlando scheduled for April 28-May 1.
The state competition was in Chattanooga, March 7-9.
DECA is a problem solving club that prepares future leaders in marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and communiciations.
DECA has 92 students involved at Middleton High School, 32 of which went to the Chattanooga event.
Also recognized on stage were Jacob Lumpkin (entrepreneurship test third place) and Landan Rainey (entrepreneurship role play third place).
Nine of the last ten years have seen Middleton High School students qualify for the international competition.
