Bolivar FD Honors Retirement; Thirty Years of Service

The Bolivar Fire Department recently honored two of its own who have achieved milestones in their respective careers with the department.

Assistant Chief Michion Gatlin (right with Chief Lynn Price) began his career on April 1, 1994, and retired on April 1, 2024, with 30 years of service to the department. He was honored by the department with a special celebration and received, among other recognitions and gifts, a plaque from the honoring his 30 years of dedicated service to the department and to the community.

Lieutenant Kim Nuckolls (right) also began his full-time career with the department on April 1, 1994 and celebrated his 30th year of service. He joined the department in 1985 as a volunteer firefighter, serving the department and the community for 39 years. He currently serves as the lieutenant of C shift.
