Frost Named Top Bolivar PD Officer

The Bolivar Police Department announced its 2022 Officer of the Year on Monday, March 13 as Officer Braxdon Frost was presented the award by Bolivar Police Chief Michael Jones during an informal gathering.  Frost was also presented with the Speed Enforcement Award in 2022.  Braxdon is a second-generation law enforcement officer, following in the footsteps of his father, Lindsey Frost.  Officer Frost is a five-year veteran of the Bolivar Police Department.

“Being a second-generation law enforcement officer is much more than a job, it is a calling for me.  I was born and raised in this community, and it is my honor to be of service to the residents of Bolivar,” said Officer Frost.

Christopher Wilkerson was presented with the 2022 Occupant Safety Award, the 2022 Impaired Driver Enforcement Award, and the January 2023 Officer of the Month award.  Officer Wilkerson has a total of 18 years of law enforcement experience and serves as the department’s training officer.  He has been with the Bolivar Police Department for the last four years.

Chief Jones stated, “We are extremely proud of all of our officers for their commitment to keeping our community safe.  These awards demonstrate that policing is about ensuring the safety of our community and the safety of the residents who call Bolivar home.”
