Hebron Baptist Church will have a revival September 22-24, with services on Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The speaker is Eric Jones of Eastview. Nursery is provided.

The Board of the Carl Perkins Exchange Club for the Prevention of Child Abuse is in need of donations, monetary or in the form of school supplies, hygiene items or canned goods. Contact Monica Goodman at 731-659-2373.

The Bolivar Central High School class of 1973 will hold a 50th reunion on Saturday, October 21 at 3 p.m. with a picnic to follow at 5 p.m. at the home of Mary Yarbrough and Terry Wharton in Toone. The event is a relaxed social gathering and picnic, the attire is informal, and the cost per attendee is $50 with a deadline of October 1. The Middleton Community Center will host a Ladies Night October 19 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. For more information, find it on facebook.

Tennessee Farmers Cooperative is partnering with Tennessee 4-H in the 2023 4-H T-Shirt Design Contest which both showcases the talent of Tennessee 4-H’ers and raises funds for 4-H projects and programs. Eligibility for the contest is open to all current members of Tennessee 4-H, but participants under the age of 18 must have their designs submitted by a parent or guardian on their behalf. Each entrant is permitted to submit one original design which may not contain any copyrighted or trademarked material, except for the 4-H logo nor offensive or vulgar content.  Designs are to be submitted via email to chill@ourcoop.com no later than September 30. Winners will be announced on October 6, 2023, and the selected champion will receive an iPad and Apple Pencil valued at $600, in addition to five T-shirts featuring their winning design. The Middleton Library: Hardeman County Extension Agent, Iama Price, will join the Middleton Library once again for Chair Yoga and Basic Tai Chi classes! Chair Yoga will start in September and will meet Thursdays for six sessions. Tai Chi will be starting in November and will meet Thursdays for five sessions. Anyone interested in joining must sign-up or call ahead!

The Hickory Valley Fire Department is selling tickets for Boston Butts. Contact any fireman to get a ticket. Pick-up Oct. 28. $40/ticket.

Middleton High School College and Career Fair is September 15 from 12:30pm-2:30pm at Middleton High School.

Bolivar Central College and Career Fair will be September 15 from 8:15-10:15.

The Middleton Library will have STEM Class on September 14 at 4:00, and Chair Yoga on September 15, 22, and 29 at 11:00 a.m.

Bolivar Hardeman County Library: September 14 Lego Club 3:30 p.m., September 15 Bingo 10:30 a.m., September 21 Storytime 10:30 a.m., September 26 Sassy Seniors 10:30 a.m., and STEM Club 3:30 p.m.

The Bolivar Rotary Chicken Cook will be October 14. Tickets are available from Rotary Club Members.

There will be a Craft Fair in Toone at the park on October 28, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The Hardeman County Bicentennial Celebration will be October 28 at the Hardeman County Courthouse.

The Bolivar BBQ Blowout will be October 27-28 in downtown Bolivar.

GED classes are being offered weekly at the Grand Junction Public Library, located at 530 Madison Ave W in Grand Junction. It opens at noon Tuesday-Friday. For more information call 731-764-2716.

Bolivar Masonic Lodge #608 meets the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Grand Junction Community Walk every second Saturday of the month at the city park, if it rains it will be at the Old Cotton Gin.

Loaves and Fishes Food Bank needs all non-perishable food items. Call 609-2397 to drop off your donations. Canned fruit and protein items are most needed.
