Our tradition on Labor Day is a big family gathering and dove shoot. As normal, Momma Hoot bonds with the kitchen. We have a country man’s breakfast and the talk is about the dove hunt.

The Bolivar Central High School (BCHS) football Tigers came close to grabbing their first season win against Chester County at home on Friday, September 5.
The Hatchie River Youth Soccer Association (HRAYS) league held its fall soccer clinic on Saturday, September 6 to promote the league and give participants an opportunity to learn more about soccer.
