Whiteville Hosts Football Camp

Former NFL Running Back Dexter McCluster (far right, orange shorts) led a football training camp in Whiteville on June 4, bringing with him Tyler Harris, a boxing trainer, who assisted with fitness.  The event was available for all youth in Hardeman and surrounding counties.

“I’d like to thank all the boys and girls who participated,” said Whiteville Mayor Gene Bowden. “To all the sponsors, including the P.H.A Masons of Victoria Lodge #53 Bolivar, TN, who grilled food for everyone and Eunice Gudger, who instructed line dancing for the young ladies, the day couldn't have been better.”
