Tigers Defeat Tigers

The second meeting between Bolivar and Middleton in the last 13 years didn’t have much drama in it as Middleton scored 37 points in the second quarter and led 58-26 points at the half enroute to a 85-64 win in Middleton in front of a sellout crowd. Middleton hit seven three pointers and went 9-11 at the foul line in the first half, while holding Bolivar to only two threes and no foul shots.

Led by R.J. Robinson’s 28 points, Middleton won the boys game for the second time this season, the only time since at least before 2001 they have won two straight in the series.

Bolivar was led in scoring by Jamarion Anderson with 16.

The girls game was not contested due to COVID-19 concerns.
