Tiger Win Streak Broken by Hawks

Bolivar Central’s three game win streak to open the 2019-2020 season came to an end on December 2, as Jackson South Side came to town and scored a hundred on the Tigers.
Winning 108-83, the Hawks took advantage of foul trouble for Jaquan Lax and Toris Woods, leading by 15 at the half and pulling away in the fourth quarter.
Senior guard Jeff Norment attempted to keep up with the Hawks scoring barrage, but his 33-point, 7-rebound, 4-assist effort (all team highs) came up short.
The next night, Norment had 25 to again lead the Tiger offense, but Bolivar fell 80-65 on the road against Dyer County in the rematch of the opening night Tiger win.
