Tennis only a small slice of Carly Weems' daily life

After almost 12 years of school, Carly Weems has finally become involved in school athletics.
Weems, a senior at Bolivar Central High School, decided to go out for the school's tennis team this year and made it.
“I have always wanted to participate in sports, but never really had the time until now,” Weems said.
By all accounts, she has done a good job, actually winning several of her sets. Many times has been the only winner in a match. This year's girls tennis team is very young, with only one player (Molly Barnes) that has any experience. Weems plays both singles and doubles, but prefers singles.
Besides tennis, Weems is enjoying all the aspects of her senior year in high school. She carries a 4.0 grade point average and has also found time to appear in several school plays.
“This has definitely been the best year of high school for me thus far,” Weems said.
