Packed House Sees County Teams Split

Middleton and Bolivar split for the second time in a row in the 2022-2023 season, this time in front of a packed house at Middleton High School.

Just like in December, Bolivar’s Girls got out early and led at the end of each quarter, winning 52-31. Freshman Sharaven Perry led Bolivar with 16 points and 20 rebounds, while Junior Naveah Bunch had 14 to go along with 18 boards.

Also in double figures for Bolivar was Senior Chloe Griffin, who had 10 points, but suffered a knee injury in the waning moments of the game. Kamora Buggs led Middleton with 13.
