The Only Perfect Team in Dizzy Dean

The Dizzy Dean Girls Hyman Tire Service team will finish the season as the only undefeated team in either Bolivar league, going 11-0 in the 8U league.
Hyman’s final game on May 30 was rained out with them leading 5-1 over Star Physical Therapy.
The Dizzy Dean girls league will play one final game on June 1, as Stemz (7-5) will face Two Little Hoots (5-7).
Other league winners for the girls were H&R Block (9-2-1), who came from a 7-2 deficit on May 30 to win 9-7 over Maria’s Pizza and Wings (2-9-1); and The Bank of Hardeman County who finished at 9-1.
In the boys leagues, only one league champion had been decided with a week left in the regular season, as The Gym Health and Fitness Center beat Rotary 13-12 on May 25 to clinch first place.
In the 6U league, Farmers Insurance (10-1) hold a two and a half game advantage over Nelms Auto Body, but the two teams are scheduled to face one another on June 2 and with a win, Nelms would hold the tie breaker as the teams head into the final weekend.
The 10U league has WMOD (7-4) and Merchants and Planters Bank (7-4) at the top with one game remaining. WMOD will face Hooper Sawmill and Merchants and Planters will face VFW on June 1 in the final games of the season. WMOD holds the tie breaker, defeating Merchants and Planters three out of four games in the season.
The 12U league had Bolivar Insurance and Real Estate (7-2) at the edge of clinching, but will either need a victory over The Bank of Hardeman County (1-9) or a loss by Star Physical Therapy (7-4) to end the season in first place. Three games remain on the schedule, all involving Bolivar Insurance and Real Estate.
