Middleton ladies finish season winless

The Middleton Lady Tigers final week of the season was a busy one, playing a total of seven games in five days, all losses.

Middleton played host to Liberty on Monday, April 27. Liberty jumped out to an early lead, scoring two runs in the first inning, one run in the third, four runs in the fourth, and one run in each of the fifth and sixth innings, for a total of nine runs on 12 hits with one error. Middleton scored once in the sixth inning and once in the seventh for a total of two runs on seven hits with three errors.
Haley Maccarino was 1-4 with one RBI and one run scored, Morgan Mills was 1-3 with one RBI, Kayleigh Lanier was 1-3 with one run scored, Sydney Russell was 1-4, Polly Dowty was 1-3, Chelsea Tranum was 1-2, and Baylee Lanier was 1-1.
JCS 7 Middleton 0
Middleton traveled to Jackson Christian School on Tuesday, April 28, for a double header. In the first game, JCS scored three runs in the first inning, three runs in the second inning and one run in the third inning, for a total of seven runs on seven hits with no errors, Middleton failed to score, but did manage six hits with three errors.
Morgan Mills was top batter, going 2-3, Haley Maccarino was 1-2, Sydney Russell was 1-3, Polly Dowty was 1-3and Kayleigh Lanier was 1-2.
