Middleton boys end season on a sour note

The Middleton Tigers struggles continued during their final week of the season, losing three games to Madison Academic, including both sides of a double header at home on Monday, April 27, losing the first game 9-0 and the second game 8-6. The Tigers also lost to Madison for a third time,7-0, on the road on Wednesday, April 29, in a wild card game to determine the final position in the District 15 A Tournament.

In Monday’s first game, both teams were scoreless for the first two innings, before Madison finally got on the board in the third inning and was able to put the game out of reach.
We had a few errors in the third inning, and Madison was able to pull away,” Middleton Assistant Head Coach Terry Mills said.
