Middle Schools Make Final Eight

Bolivar Middle School and Middleton Middle School came up one game short of a trip to Murfreesboro, bowing out in their section championship games.
The first year of the TMSSA hosting a state championship saw the Tigers make a run after qualifying through their local tournaments, Bolivar Middle School in Class AA and Middleton in Class A.
Bolivar’s defeat came on January 31 against Crestview Middle School at Northview Middle School in Newbern as the Tigers lost their only game of the season, ending the season at 20-1.
Middleton ended their season with a mark of 22-3, falling to Lester Prep on February 4 at E.E. Jeter Middle School in Millington.
