Middle School Golf in Hardeman County

The Bolivar Middle School Golf Team defeated Milan and Hardin County on April 23 to move to 3-1 on the season, with Carson Daniel leading the way with a 30 over six holes at Pickwick Landing State Park Golf Course in Pickwick.
The total by Daniel was the lowest score of the year for Coach Kim Sain’s squad, made up of players from both Bolivar Middle School and Hornsby Elementary.
Sain, who is in her ninth year leading the team, said it has helped prepare golfers for Bolivar Central over the years.
“I have a love for golf and I enjoy it,” she said.
The matches are normally six or nine holes because of time constraints and there is a separate girls division.
“Teams for girls are you can play three and take two scores for the team total. The boys are you can play five and take four.”
