MHS Beats BTW

The Middleton Tiger Football team scored first and kept the lead for the entire game in beating region rival Booker T. Washington 20-12 on October 29 at T.D. Owens Field in Middleton.
The Tigers struck first on a quarterback keeper by Chason Lor. Phillip Parks ran it in for the extra point to give them an 8-0 lead, which they took into the locker room at halftime.
Booker T. Washington answered in the third quarter with a touchdown of their own, but failed on the extra point.
Lor threw a touchdown pass to Pipkin to widen the lead to 14-6, but found themselves ahead by 14-12 in the fourth quarter.
Running back Aaron Burnette scored on a run to give the lead to the Tigers at 20-12. A late turnover deep in Middleton’s end by BTW sealed the win for the Tigers.
