The Hornsby-Toone Tradition

Toone and Hornsby basketball teams played for the third time this season on December 10 at Hornsby, giving the kids who attend the school a chance to see it as they played a boys-girls double-header with a noon start.

Game one saw Hornsby win 30-27 for their first victory of the season in the series. Londyn Lindsay led Hornsby with 11 points, while Meredith Whitfield had 10. Jada Brooks led Toone with nine points.

The boys team from Hornsby, who defeated Toone in the other two contest between the teams, won the second game, 42-19. Isaiah Bunch led the Bulldogs with 11, while Clyne Walton had 10 points. Cortavis Walton led Toone with 8 points.

The two teams will play for the fourth time this season on December 16 at Toone.
