Hornsby Bulldogs visit Bobcat Country

As the balls bounced and the cheers started, the teams took to the center court.  
Hornsby Bulldogs were to face-off against the Toone Bobcats.  The girls and boys both played a game in Bobcat Country in front of an equally packed gym.  The girls started the night out, proving that there was not an easy win to be had.  Watching the game there was just as much excitement on the sidelines as frustrations rose with the coach as mistakes on the court were made. There was were plays made by both teams, however the Toone Bobcats came out victorious at the end of the night with a final score of 35 to 16.  
Following the Hornsby loss, the boys had a long road ahead if they planned to pull off a victory. As the boys took to the center court the Bobcats won the jump.  This did not weaken the Bulldogs spirits, as time after time they answered the call matching basket for basket.  Both teams made several fouls giving the other team a few easier points.  The game came down to the wire, both teams fighting for final points, however in the end the Bulldogs showed they could answer the call and pulled off a 49 to 38 win against Toone.
