Middleton senior Tylandarius Parks scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Middleton advanced to the sub-state for the second year in a row. For his career Parks now has 1,565 points along with 1,015 rebounds.
The Tigers, now 24-4 on the year, will face Humboldt on Thursday, March 1 will determine their sub-state opponent for March 5 and whether they will have home court advantage.
The Middleton Lady Tigers saw their season end in the first round of the regional tournament with a 52-39 loss to Dresden, while Bolivar’s girls advanced to the second round of the region, but fell 74-56 to Haywood County. Middleton ended the year 18-12, while Bolivar went 20-7.
