Got water?

In less than 72 hours, the South Carolina coast got 24.4 inches of rain! 529 roads, highway and 70 miles of interstate closed down.
    Wow! The aftermath is just  starting. It’s easy to say, adapt and overcome, but  OMG! It’s really something to think about. I’ll be the first to admit, during duck season we want flood water, its basically our only hope of attracting ducks. It also would have the tendency to push river bottom deer to high ground. At least with proper planning we have ways to overcome. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not easy. Deer stands are moved or even lost. Duck decoys drift away or worst case a tree limb floats through them. At least for a while, dealing with beavers is not a problem.
