Can you feel it? I’m talking about fall. I know it’s still hot and muggy, but the change is coming.
As a lot of you know, the fall can produce some outstanding fishing. Hopefully the creek (Hatchie) will rise. With a small cold front on its way, we hope to end the migration of some blue wing teal or maybe a woodie (wood duck or two). And a big splash would   be a goose. And last but not least —football.
With the college games on Saturdays and NFL games on Monday and Thursday nights and all Day Sundays, it really helps the time go by pretty fast.
With deer archery season opening on September 26 for those of you that throw sticks with strings—good luck.
As we made our preparations for fall and winter you can almost feel the excitement in the air and, as normal, our expectations are high. That’s our motivation, always remember safety first and I hope everyone has a great hunting season.
