Bolivar Central (9-4, 1-0) outscored Fayette Ware 39-20 in the second half to beat the Wildcats 71-58 in Bolivar on January 8 in first district game of the season for both teams.
Tovarious Woods led Bolivar with 18 points and 8 rebounds, scoring 14 of his game high points in the second half.
Bolivar went 17-23 from the free throw line, including making 12 of 14 in the fourth quarter to seal the game. Also in double figures were Jeff Norment with 17 points and D.J. Smith with 14, including 8-8 from the line.
