District Playoffs Begin on May 5

Hardeman County High School Baseball and Softball teams will begin district play this week, with all four teams competing.

Bolivar Central Baseball will play May 5, facing Madison Academic in a play-in game at Adamsville. If victorious, the Tigers would then go into double elimination tournament play by facing Adamsville on May 6, at 7:00 p.m. The Tigers are the #4 seed in the tournament.

Bolivar Central Softball, who are the #3 seed, will face Adamsville on May 6, at 5:00 p.m. at Decatur County Riverside to begin their double elimination tournament.

Middleton Softball will face Trenton Peabody at 7:00 p.m. on May 6, at Halls High School, while Middleton Baseball will face Humboldt on May 5 at 4:00 p.m.

The Bolivar Middle School Baseball team will play their sectional tournament at Martin Middle School, opening up against Three Oaks at 5:30 on May 9. That tournament is a single elimination event.
