Bolivar struggles, losing twice to Lexington and three in Independent Appeal Tourney

The Bolivar Central Tigers got close several times last week, but failed to win a game, losing twice to Lexington in a double header on Tuesday, April 7, 4-0 in the first game, and 6-2 in the night cap, before traveling to McNairy County for the Independent Appeal Tournament on Wednesday and Friday, losing to Haywood 8-5 on Wednesday, April 6, then losing to Adamsville 6-5 in their first game on Friday, April 10, then losing to Chester County 13-9 in the night cap.
“We had a chance to win every game we played this week, but errors cost us every game,” Bolivar Head Coach Mark Fulghum said.
