Bolivar Brings Home Championship Trophies

Six Bolivar All-Star teams went out to play the weekend of June 9-11, and three came home with the championship hardware.
The Bolivar 6U team, coached by Jonathan Hodge, Corey Madden, Matthew Dorris, and Justin McMahan went undefeated in four games, beating Lexington 16-8 in the final of the Great American All-Star Bash at Oakfield Park in Jackson. Bolivar outscored their opponents 61-46 in the tournament.
The 8U team from Bolivar had the longest road, winning their opening game 13-6 over Madison Central on June 9, but finally hoisting the trophy seven games and five days later, avenging their pool play loss to Lexington on June 13, at the Great American All-Star Bash at Oakfield Park in Jackson.
