Bolivar boys still perfect in tennis, girls still looking for a win

The Bolivar Central Tigers tennis team remained perfect for the year, after a 5-2 win over Hardin County, at home on Tuesday, March 24, while the Lady Tigers are still trying to get a win, losing 7-0.
Bolivar Boys
The Bolivar boys went 3-2 in singles action, with Jake Wilson defeating Eli Smith 8-5, Braxdon Frost defeating Chandler Harris 8-3, and David TerBurgh defeating Houston Phillips 8-0. The only Bolivar players to lose were Landon Harris, who lost to Matt Mathis 9-7, and Luke Ormerod, who lost to Blake Locke 8-6.
The boys were perfect in doubles action, with Landon Harris/Jake Wilson defeating Matt Mathis/Eli Smith 8-6, and Braxdon Frost and David TerBurgh defeated Chandler Harris/Houston Phillips 8-1
The boys record is now 4-0 (4-3 in district play).
Bolivar Girls
The Bolivar girls were 0-5 in singles action, with Sadie Richardson losing to Morgan Mathis 8-0, Emma Burnett lost to Addy Adkisson 8-0, Meredith Owens lost to Madison McChristial 8-6, Taylor Sisk lost to Julia Mazanek 8-0, and Carly Weems lost to Rachael Roberts 8-2.
In doubles action, the ladies were 0-2, with Molly Barnes/Katelyn Emerson losing to Morgan Mathis/Addy Adkisson 8-0, and Sadie Richardson/Kelsey McKinnie lost to Madison McChristial/Julia Mazanek 8-0.
The ladies are now 0-4 (0-3 in district play).
Bolivar is scheduled to travel to McNairy Central on Monday, April 6, play host to Middleton on Tuesday, April 7, and travel to Chester County on Thursday, April 9.
