Bolivar boys end April drought

The Bolivar Central Tigers ended a seven game skid on Thursday, April 16 with an 8-2 win over Fayette County at home.
Bolivar struck first, scoring one run in the first inning, but Fayette Academy scored two runs in the third to take the lead. The Tigers put the game away in the fifth with six runs, and scored one more for good measure in the sixth, for a total of eight runs on seven hits with four errors. Fayette Academy finished the game with two runs on five hits with one error.
Trae Hobbs was top hitter for Bolivar, going 2-4 including a run scored, Klay Tucker was 1-2 with a double and two RBIs, Hunter Hart was 1-3 with a home run, two RBIs and a run scored, Ethan Hannis was 1-3 with one RBI and one run scored, Austin Sisco was 1-3 with one RBI and one run scored, and Trey Lowe was 1-3 with a double and one RBI. Stefon Goss was 0-2 with a run scored, and Zach Woods was 0-0 with two runs scored.
