BCHS and MHS Lady Tigers competed in preseason volleyball scrimmage to test the skills they have been working on for their upcoming seasons.

BCHS and MHS rally to test their skills

The Bolivar Central High School (BCHS) and Middleton High (MHS) School volleyball players came together for a scrimmage at BCHS on August 14. The pre-season play gave them an opportunity to test the skills they have been working on as they prepare for the season. Both coaches, Anna Huckaby from BCHS and Zeke Craft from MHS, were pleased with the performance of their teams, considering it was the first time they had played another team this year. “I’m proud of the girls, being in our second year. There are still so many things we need to improve on, especially our mental game and communication,” said Huckaby. “We have a lot of younger girls stepping up who will help the team in the coming years. We are a work in progress.”   To view more please log in or subscribe to the digital edition.
