Basketball Season Starts in Hardeman County

Whiteville split a pair of games with Middleton on opening night as all five Hardeman County Middle School Basketball teams were scheduled to begin play this week.
Middleton’s girls beat the Lady Lions 30-10, but the Whiteville boys came back to win the second game 49-37 on October 21.
Bolivar and Toone were scheduled to begin play on October 24, with Toone hosting Middleton and Bolivar hosting Hornsby.
Bolivar Central will begin their season on November 19 at home against Dyer County, while Middleton High School will start the season at Covington on November 16.
