32-Under Wins Hatchie Spirits Tournament

Jon Sain, Fred Kessler, and Rob Hessing shot a pair of 16-under par 56s to win the Hatchie Spirits Three-Person Scramble, September 12-13 at the Hardeman County Golf and Country Club.
The trio beat the runner-up team of Strope, Strope, and Jenkins 58-56--114 by two strokes. Third in the championship flight was Stack, Fry, and Bolyard at 59-57--116.
The first flight saw Rhea, Goddard, and Cocke shoot 62-58--120 beating second place Plunk, Shultz, and Burleson (62-61--123) and third place Madden, Madden, and Watkins (64-60--124).
The third flight went to Austin, McGee, and Riggins at 68-61--129, beating a three-way tie of Faulk- Hardin-Porter, Daniel-Daniel-Daniel, and Barnes-Barnes-Adkins at 131.
The final flight was won by Robinson, Bobbit, and Driver at 70-65--135, edging Bell, Wilhite, and Fortune (71-65--136) by a shot. Hopper, Hopper, and McAfferty was third at 72-67--139.
The full field of thirty-nine teams braved rain on Saturday.
On Sunday, Evan Jones made a hole-in-one on the par three #6 hole.
