The 2000-Point Club

The only three players in the history of Bolivar Central athletics to score more than 2,000 points in their career were part of the “Renew the Rivalry” games held June 15 at Bolivar Middle School.
The games pitted recent alumni from both schools in a boys-girls doubleheader, with the teams splitting the two games.
Bolivar won the girls contest 63-58, lead by Tionne Herron and Hailey Hardaway with 14 points apiece, while Kendra Williams had 12.
The boys game went to Middleton, 81-78. Middleton was led by Jermichael McKinnie with 19 and Ty Parks with 17. Bolivar led in scoring by Willie Kemp and Christian Clark, who each had 17 points.
