#1 Seed Looks for Eighth Title

Bolivar Central will attempt to win their eighth title in twelve years in the Hardeman County Middle School Baseball Championship on April 9 at the Optimist Field in Bolivar.

Bolivar is the number one seed for the tournament, having edged out Hornsby in run differential during the regular season series, in which they split the two games.

Middleton and Hornsby will open the tournament at 10:00 a.m., followed by Middleton and Bolivar at noon, and Bolivar versus Hornsby at 2:00 p.m. The higher seed will be the home team for each game.

Hornsby is the defending champion, winning their second title in 2021, while Middleton has two titles as well.

If any of the three schools win both contests, they will be the champion. In case of a three-way tie, run differential will decide the champion. If the run differential is tied, it will be runs allowed. If a champion is not found through the first two tie-breakers, the highest remaining seed will be declared champion.
