Winter Guard places in competition

The Fayette Academy Winter Guard earned second place in their class on Feb. 20 at Collierville’s “Dragon Spin” Winter Guard Competition.  The Winter Guard consists of band members and other students at Fayette Academy that perform artistic routines using flags, rifles, sabers, and other visual props. Their show this year is “All In It,” performed to the Justin Bieber hit of the same name.  The 2016 Fayette Academy Winter Guard members are Katherine Boozer, Allie Wade, Emily Waldon,  Madison Doyle, Amber Hilliard, and Riley Melton.
